There are numerous activities involved in a “transport” including:

* Coordination between CA shelters and out-of-state rescue groups.
* Vet care for all animals prior to departure, including meeting all state agriculture requirements. (i.e. Health certificates and heart worm tests)
* Physical transportation of animals that begins at California shelters and travels to their destination via air or ground.
* Following up with rescue groups to ensure all animals are working through the adoption process.
