Team members Ray and Celeste were looking to adopt another doggie and had inquired with their apt manager to see if there were any breed restrictions and of course there was…no pitty’s. They learned this after seeing this sweet girl at the Devore Shelter where they knew she had no chance….They couldn’t let her die so today they made the 2hr drive to Devore and with the help of Steve Spiro, Rene Ruston, Bridget @ Big Dawgs Rescue, Cheryl Meyer, Estella Holland and Lisa Robertt they were able to save her. They are going to do their best to keep her but if they can not….they are going to personally see to it that she gets the most amazing home as she deserves it!!!
Here is an update from Ray and Celeste…They named her Jersey Girl…we think she is a Shar-Pei/pit mix..What do you think? She has the most amazing personality. Very subservient, calm and lovable. She walks great on a leash, is calm and relaxed in the bath and while being groomed. She gets along great with other dogs and even cats! She loves to give kisses and snuggle. She knows how to sit, stay, lay down and listens and obeys very well. We even think she is housebroken as no accidents in the house. We just knew she was special and we were right!! Here are some pics and video of the fabulous Jersey Girl.

Jersey Girl still needs a vet visit, a few shots, micro chip and needs to get spayed. If you would like to donate to Jersey Girls care, please send donations via PayPal to Donations@StartRescue.org and put Jersey Girl in the memo. Thank you!!!
