Animal help?
Need help with an animal situation? START rescue works solely with the Riverside County Shelter, which is one of the most, overwhelmed and overcrowded shelters in Southern California and they desperately need our help. Our transports ONLY go to the Oregon (OR) and Washington (WA) areas. We are a small volunteer based operation with only 1 truck and 1 transport per month. We do try to fit 1-5 outside dogs on each transport if it is an emergency situation and we have the extra space. To see if your dog or cat is a potential candidate for an upcoming START Rescue transport, please click here and follow all of the instructions.
